Works the Way You Do

With FileCD Pharmacy, each time a physician examines a patient and fills out a prescription order, that form is quickly and easily scanned (right at the nursing station) directly into the FileCD Pharmacy system. FileCD Pharmacy then routes and prioritizes all scanned orders based on patient demographics, originating nursing stations, and order types (STAT, routine, and hold orders), and places the orders into the appropriate work queue.

Next, by looking at a visual image of the order, pharmacists can add any relevant data to the order before entering it into the pharmacy information system. If a doctor’s handwriting is illegible, FileCD Pharmacy’s convenient “print-back” feature directs the order back to the appropriate nursing station for clarification.

Once an order has been filled, FileCD Pharmacy stores it in a digital library. Your authorized personnel can then create reports from the archived data, documenting productivity levels, spotlighting any points in your workflow that may need improvement, and detailing all clinical interventions.
