FileCD Medical Records offers an easy-to-use, powerful way to collect and present all patient data, from the first moment a patient is seen by a physician, until the final treatment has been completed. FileCD Medical Records efficiently captures and stores all patient data – regardless of its source – in a single electronic file.  The result: complete patient medical records that can be instantly accessed and viewed by all authorized personnel, just as easily as if they were looking at paper files.

First, FileCD Medical Records easily scans and captures all incoming patient medical records, such as doctor’s notes, prescription forms, and laboratory results.  Users can then locate the record via any associated demographic information, such as the patient’s name or medical record number.  Each time a folder is opened in FileCD Medical Records, users will be presented with an electronic face-sheet that shows up-to-date information about the patient, including blood type, date of last hospital visit, recent test results, and allergies.

Next, FileCD Medical Records will present a new screen with two panels.  The left panel offers a set of tabbed categories in a familiar Microsoft Outlook-style format; the right panel shows the patient’s documents and data. When users click on a tab in FileCD Medical Records, the most current copy of the document will appear to the right. In this way, medical personnel can quickly view a patient’s entire history. FileCD Medical Records also makes it simple for users to create new documents (and add doctor notes) using the same interface.
